Christmas Charity Raffle

BRAVE - THE OGGA FOUNDATION

In November 2023, a local young man, David Archer, gave his children a goodnight kiss for bed, and left the family house to go to work, Sadly he never came home. A tragic accident on site, see his life cut short instantly, leaving his wife and 2 children devastated, and his family, friends and colleagues in complete shock.

David's two young children have struggled to come to terms with such loss, and are trying to put on a BRAVE face. Despite amazing support from their friends, family, and school, they have struggled to process what has happened.

Sadly, we all know the pressures that the NHS is under, meaning there is currently a 2 year wait for support services and counselling,

Together with United Families UK and Talk It Out, who are both based in Deal, David's wife Rachel launched The OGGA Foundation and the BRAVE Project.

Who are The BRAVE Project?

The BRAVE Project supports children aged 12 and under who have experienced bereavement. It offers a support group with regular meet-ups, allowing children to connect with others facing similar challenges. Besides peer support, the project provides professional counselling and therapy, all funded by the foundation.

How amazing is Rachel for setting this foundation up less than one year from losing her husband ❤️

We feel honoured to help her raise money for this very worthy cause.

On the 12th day the winner will also recieve a £250 voucher to spend on anything at SKINLAB

All products are donated by SKINLAB, so every penny raised will go BRAVE Project

Tickets are £10 each - You can purchase as many as you like.

To purchase you can email SKINLAB for bank transfer details, or buy tickets in clinic.

It is just one week until we start drawing our Christmas charity raffle winners. Uptake for tickets has been slower than usual, so we are hoping for a big surge in purchases this week 😉 We'd be really grateful if you could help us raise a good amount for this very worthy local cause.
